If people want to time travel, they should dine-in at a Ward’s anywhere in Mississippi.
I made that mistake once, in New Augusta on Hwy 98.
Two bites, in the garbage.

Ok? The 90s were like 10 years ago what’s the big deal

What the frick is he driving?
Posted on 9/18/25 at 7:53 am to saintforlife1
He's in Alabama and his chin is in Mississippi.
Posted on 9/18/25 at 7:59 am to saintforlife1
Was he even alive in the 90s?
Posted on 9/18/25 at 8:05 am to saintforlife1
How the hell would he know what the 90s felt like when it’s obvious he was, at best, maybe a toddler when the 90s ended?

I thought screech died
What kind of vehicle was he in?

It’s also Bessemer. If I drove through the shittiest part of any state I’m sure it would feel the same
Wow that says a lot. I can name you places in any state, especially liberal paradises, that are far worse than Bessemer. What a dick.
Rockford Illinois, Harvey Illinois
Albany NY Buffalo NY
Sacramento CA, Fresno CA
See this isn't hard. Wonder what he thought of Mountain Brook, Fairhope, or Spring Hill?

He is in old town Bessemer, nothing has been updated there since before the 90s.
They do have the Brightstar restaurant which is awesome. He needs to drive on 82 towards Mississippi and check out Gordo and Reform too

During the 2000s 2 towns stuck out to me that we're like that when i was traveling. Lake Providence looked like it was from the 60s and New Iberia looked like it was stuck in in the 70s.
Funny because New Iberia is where they filmed the True Detective scene where McCaughnahey looks around and says, "this place is like someone's memory of a town, and the memory is fading"

I mean the 90s were pretty awesome…

Wait until he stops at Bright Star for lunch.

A guy walks into a bar with a pair of jumper cables around his neck. Bartender says I’ll serve you, but don’t try and start anything.

If you think Bessemer is the worst place in Alabama you must never have been in Selma. It is the boil on the a-hole of the state.
Horrible place, horrible people. Zero out of 5 stars. Do not recommend.

So, using the inductive form of reasoning, there’s at least a moderate probability that he was on the Lolita Express.

As someone who has driven through there many, many times, "the 90s" is not what springs to mind.
