We should have never shut everything down unless we were willing to ride it out until a vaccine or cure was created. Once that was put on the table it’s hard to remove it if a vaccine or cure isn’t in place. For example, we shut schools down in the state of Louisiana in the interest of safety with ONLY 33 cases, how do say it’s safe to go back when you have thousands of cases?
How long was the increase in unemployment? That is probably the minimum amount of time we are talking before everyone goes back to work? Why would scared people go back to work, especially if it’s for less money than they are making staying quarantined?
