Hell, Apple bought "Beats by Dre" for something like $3 billion.

Is this breaking news for you? Dre did sell Beats to Apple for around $1B.
No. And if you had bothered to read the link, the sale to Apple was for $3B.

Jimmy Iovine got his cut of that as well along with investors.
Dre has a school and building names after him at USC. I think as Chris Rock says that's the difference between rich and wealthy.

I knew he had Beats, I had no idea it was a $3B product. According to the article, he also had partner(s) in that deal.

50 got involved with Vitamin water in the peak of his music career in 2004, but the pay off didn't come until three years later when The Coca-Cola company purchased Glaceau for $4.1 billion. 50 walked away with a satisfying $100 million for the deal.

So how is he hiding his wealth?
Posted on 2/14/22 at 2:44 pm to cable
I’m not saying he is or isn’t. I just know I that his wealth came from investing in Vitamin Water very early on, and not from his rap career.
50 and Vitamin Water deal
