He was not set up. He was a methhead red neck who definitely hired a man to kill someone. Also abused animals and humans.

Plus he didn't get 30 years he got 22.

We can argue whether or not he was set up on the murder for hire. What we cannot argue is whether he was set up on breaking federal animal abuse charges

He deserved some time for the tiger killings, but dying in jail for a murder that never happened seems absurd

Murder for hire doesn't require harm to the target, under federal law it does potentially carry a sentence twice as long if someone is physically harmed.

It is similar to pointing a loaded gun at someone's head and pulling the trigger but for the fact the round is a dud the person would be dead. There is mens rea.

It really is a shame they didn’t follow through and actually kill her. Would have been amazing to watch

Why does he keep targeting the LGBTQ community like this? Does he not realize he is playing with their emotions here if he doesn’t commute his sentence?

The guy had a shitload of money at one point, was a hammy reality TV star, and ended up in jail. Obviously the Trumps see a bit of their own futures in him.

Translation:: I have no idea what the frick I'm talking about but here's my take on the matter.

Right? How do you say 30 years is aggressive when you just said you don't know what he was charged with.

Whether 30 years is a good sentence pretty much depends on what he got convicted of.

Edit: and I'm pretty sure it was 22 years, not 30.
