I guess that’s why he needed Lowe to sit there and walk him through the entire process?
Lowe became and partner, flipped Joe to the feds a couple of years later and then wound up with all of Joe’s holdings? The only thing more sketchy is the “or deemed missing” that was added to Baskin’s husbands will right before he went missing.

I want the next limited series to be about the trial, with a focus on the FBI investigation! You add Joe and the FBI as the focus of a series and you have gold. The market is ripe for a FBI "framed someone" series.

Everyone in that show is sketchy as frick. Doesn’t change the fact that Joe tried to hire a fed to kill someone.
We sure as shite don’t scream “set-up” when terrorists try to buy arms or explosives from undercover FBI or thugs try to buy drugs from undercover DEA. We say good job.

Completely agree. He appeared to be set up on the murder for hire. Guilty of all sorts of animal abuse though. His sentence does seem excessive.

There is no question Lowe is a POS and like so many others he was in the right place at the right time with the right info to get some help from the feds.
When you are the guy the feds want and don't have information to give them for someone they want more you get the stick which Joe did.

No one is defending Jeff Lowe. My point is joe lost all his entrapment argument when he would pretend to shoot carol on his show. Joe is a piece of shite who is a legit danger to our society despite how funny he is. All joe had to do is say to Jeff, “ nah man this is just a show I don’t actually want to kill her”

You can name a mannequin Carole and blow it to hell in america. Jeff saw this and it made his job so easy. Jeff was the one who also ruined the negotiations between both parties, escalating procedures.
Joe shooting a mannequin doesnt look good in retrospect, unless youre Jeff,..but its not illegal to do.
