I tell people about DUI checkpoints all the time. I have no idea if they are driving legally or not. Just last week I posted cops running radar. I have no idea if the people who read that were speeding or not.

So why would legal immigrants have a use for the iceblock app?

Bad example because that’s not true. It was ruled that you can yell fire in a theatre. But you can also be sued civilly if it causes someone harm

Thats fine, nobody is taking issue with that. She can continue to do that even.. BUT her employer can fire her for undermining them which is what is happening. Has nothing to do with free speech. Free speech does not mean you are free from consequences at work. If I say hurtful things about my coworkers thats free speech, but my arse is probably fired for that.

She should be treated as someone who has committed treason. Both of them.

Curious to know if she disclosed this to the DOJ already? If not, more rationale for dismissal.

Private or Gov't Sector your arse is getting fired if you profit from an app that hinders your employer from doing their job or providing their service.

She's running to the media looking for sympathy from morons and dipshits because she has no legal recourse.

So if I intentionally out an undercover cop in front of a cartel leader knowing he ends up getting put in a woodchipper, I have no criminal culpability?

You know they had to make specific laws for this specific scenario, right?

That makes them non-applicable to this general discussion, since they understood that in order to combat this highly specific scenario, a specific law was needed.

An irrelevant question for the 1A discussion.

Why would non-speeding drivers have a use for that function in Waze?

Anyone say anything about the app being cut off?

But if you are a federal employee.. you are required to disclose any outside employment you may be involved in and apparently she just forgot that she was a partner in an app that undermines federal law enforcement…. While working in federal law enforcement.

A device to stalk or track is not free speech. Particularly when that information is being provided to hinder an active investigation. And it is possibly a violation of 18 U.S.C. 1512(c),

I’d think she’d end up with a violation of 18 U.S.C. 111; interfering with Federal Law Enforcement, especially the following -

Interference with Agency Functions:
This can involve violating lawful orders from law enforcement or intentionally interfering with their operations.

This may be a controversial statement, but I think we need this app for all of the Fed departments.
