While I agree with you, I will point out that in the 20 years I’ve lived in my house, not a single human who has entered it has hunkered down and taken a shite on my living room floor.

Look, I love dogs as much as the next guy. I have two of my own... But I think people get a little carried away with being dog lovers. "We don't deserve dogs" have become such a cliche that I have started to judge people who say it.. I am sure this comment will get me downvoted.. Don't take it that serious. My point is this. Dogs are intelligent animals that can be tools to do a number of things.. depending on the breed. but there would be no dogs if their were no humans.
Dogs derived from wolfs because humans domesticated some wolves then bred them down, then took traits and bred them and then we ended up with a bunch of different breeds. So if it wasn't for us, those dogs wouldn't exit..
And I get it, this is probably a "its not that serious bro" type response and I agree, but you have to admit... a lot of people with dogs treat those sons of bitches (literally) like humans.

It's impossible to say or post something OP did without basically saying or posting "people suck and people are stupid." Even if someone thinks this, it still rubs a lot of people the wrong way.
