Yes. How should I feel about it?

I dated a girl who made about 70% more than me and it caused issues. I make just over 6 figures and the difference in lifestyle was pretty vast. In some ways I think she lost respect for me because she made more but the way I look at it, that's her problem not mine. Also, I'm in sales and she is a director for a major hospital and had to work her arse off so I think she was jealous that working for me was making phone calls from the couch.

Hey nothing wrong with that. If she makes enough to provide for a family in this economy then kudos.

If I were a stay at home dad, I’d be knocking out so many home improvement projects while the kids were either napping or at school. I mean so much. My lawn would look like Augusta. My fence would be pristine stained. Trees and hedges on point. You name it.

I've thought about that. Problem is, my wife works from home. It's better if I'm OUT of the house those 50 hours a week.

I make the money. My wife works the home and some of the farming.

Her father did however give us over 50 acres of farm, as a marriage gift.

No. Regular salary is just about the same. She is a NP. But I have a side gig and have opportunities for OT, at time and 1/2, so when I factor that in, I make quite a bit more

Absolutely not, but she's happy and has purpose with her job so that's really all that matters to her and us

My regular salary is higher than hers, finally passed her this year, but her stock compensation is much higher.

Yeah, almost double. I make good money but she's a dr.

I feel great about it. I still wear the pants in the relationship and if she acts up I still smack her on the arse or PIIHB

A little more. Depends on how much she does.

Doesn’t bother me. We’ve always combined our finances.

It’s up to me to provide healthcare coverage.

No but if she got paid for everything she does, she would make a lot more than me. Worth her weight in gold

No, but I wish she did. It would mean that we would make more money as a family, so why wouldn't I want her to make more?

I just passed her up two years ago but if she gets promoted again she’ll probably pass me again. And I love it!

Yes, I’m happy that she loves me and makes me want to work harder to improve my salary.

Yep. By about 2x. She owns her own business and is very successful.
