Some months. She’s a lawyer, I’m in sales. She should make more than me though because she works her arse off and has valuable skills whereas I just bullshite all day.

Married 5 years, both early 30’s. I had been out-earning her substantially during our relationship, but she moved into a new role last year. I still finished slightly ahead with my salary + bonus vs. her salary + commission. Although when you factor in her company-paid car, insurance, and gas card, she probably comes out ahead.

Yep, she makes way more than I do. No, it doesn't bother me at all. She has a much more advanced degree than I do, and has the income to show for it.

She makes more per hour, but I make more during the year due to a bonus and overtime
