Yes, it’s ceramic coated and I love the end product when I’m done. I will have the guy that coated it do a wash every now and then.

I run my truck through the car wash about once a year. Would do it more often, but thr would mean having to get all the junk out of the back.

They frown on beer cans flying everywhere when those drying fans come on.

Saturday mornings was the weekly car wash and detail morning when I was a teenager through 30 yrs or so.

I still wash my car and my truck. I like to change my oil and filter on them as well. I am retired and have the time to do it.

Retiring at 49 because I didn’t overpay for overpriced, new vehicles. Also, I take care of my own domain.

Also driving a RAV 4.

Could have retired at 20 if you didnt have a car at all.

Was in the driveway washing the wife’s RAV4 yesterday afternoon. Got me thinking…this used to be a common occurrence amongst neighbors. I haven’t seen someone washing their own cars, at their house in years. Is everyone paying a monthly note for that too now?

We are a long way from hurting or a recession.

You mean you actually GET OUT of you car to wash it?

Yep. Miss the days neighbors were out in their yards or driveways working on things. I’m not sure why humans like to be like dogs in a pound caged up.

I actually enjoy taking care of my own shite and waving to others around me that do the same.

I own a nice sports car and haven’t had a wash since I bought it well over a year ago. Why? Because it rains occasionally on commutes to work and I enjoy its performance characteristics around twisties and don’t care about impressing people, like BabyTac, a LaTech grad and alleged engineer.

To add emphasis, you know you really don’t give a shite when you went to an elite school, remain an LSU fan (apparently has a football program), and refuse to add those alumni decals/vanity plates…now that’s something to start a thread on BabyTac, and I’d give you a quick upvote.

But the real question, do you have LA Tech decals/plate frame?

I’ll just do a one hour consulting call everyone 3 months to cover my yard guy and car washes.
