Was in the driveway washing the wife’s RAV4 yesterday afternoon. Got me thinking…this used to be a common occurrence amongst neighbors. I haven’t seen someone washing their own cars, at their house in years. Is everyone paying a monthly note for that too now?

We are a long way from hurting or a recession.

I do…I also ceramic coated it myself and it makes it very easy to wash….most of the water comes off with my blower and it’s easy to dry

Putting grim, grease, and brake dust stains on your concrete driveway is trashy.

Don’t you claim to live in an affluent neighborhood?

A $20 a month unlimited wash membership amounts to 10 washes per month, so $2 per wash. Washing it myself takes 30-45 minutes.

Soooooooooooo pass. Car wash membership it is.

I just don't wash it unless it's super dirty. It's just not a big deal for me.

Yep. Once a year, whether it needs it or not... As my dad would say.

Won't do pay car wash. Maintaining paint quality is important to me. Vehicles are way too expensive to NOT treat them well.
I still drive '99 Silverado 4x4 regular cab. I still get people asking what do I do to keep it looking so good!
