It's a real mind frick if you stop and think about how minuscule our planet is within the universe and how vast it really is.

Yeah 100 billion galaxies. I tried to read Hawkings last book that was dumbed down for civilians but it crushed me.

Great doc on PBS right now about Hubble and how it was a game changer.

We cant possibly understand it. It’s like explaining algebra to an earthworm. We don’t have the capacity. We think inside of boundaries, from a starting point to an ending point. We can’t comprehend infinity, it doesn’t compute.

I often wonder the same thing. How can something that is supposedly infinite continue to grow? Both cannot be true.
