Yes unfortunately i do, i pay for his truck, insurance, gas, all of his food, clothes, housing, electric, water, sports etc.. It might be cheaper to get rid of him and hire someone who doesn't live with me. but then his mom would be pissed.

Occasionally we have an active duty soldier at the army base here who does it on the side to cut ours. She is cutting it this summer because my riding lawn mower needs some maintenance and I don't have time to take care of it. I normally cut it and she weeds and does hedges but over the last couple of years she has cut the lawn several times. Does a helluva job....has a small Gravely zero turn and it does a far better job than my Toro riding mower. She and her boyfriend can do out .7 acre yard in about 25-30 minutes for $50 and a tip. We tip them $50 as well so $200 a month. They also know where my beer fridge is LOL. I enjoy doing it myself but my old lawn mower is probably on its last legs and I don't have time to correct it and don't want to buy one until I find out how much mine needs.

Yes. I grew up having to mow 5-10 acres a week (depending on if my grandfather did his yard or not) on an old Cub International riding mower (max mowing speed around 2-3mph).

$60/week to mow, edge and trim my .5 acre is a bargain to me (and that's before including maintenance and storage).

No. I am not fricking lazy. I know someone whose yard could be cut in 30 minutes with a push mower and they pay someone. To each their own but it seems crazy to pay to have something done that can be done so quickly.

I still do. I have a relatively small yard but I still maintain it. In fact I recently purchased a zero turn mower that is honestly overkill but I got it because I can and it's fun.

My guy charges me $50 per week to mow, trim, and edge my .75 acre lawn. He also trims the hedges and blows the sidewalks and driveway.

First year I've ever paid anyone to mow my lawn.

Yes, and the pool boy comes once a week, too.

Thanks for asking.

that’s not bad.

When my kids were real young I was paying $40/week for the same but on a 11.5k square foot lot.

I pay $105 a week for 1.15 acres so I have plenty of time to do my wife and yours while you're cutting the grass.

Gotta think ahead...

I pay my kid $20, but that's just so he learns how to earn money instead of me just giving it to him.

Yes. $393.75 per month. It's worth it. It takes 5-6 hours for me alone to cut and trim my yard. They come every week during the summer and every two weeks during the winter. They have me and two neighbors across the street. They knock us out in less than two hours. It's like 6 guys. One with a push mower, another with a zero turn, two weed eaters and two blowers. Plus they pull and spray for weeds which is huge.

I dont have a very big yard. Takes about 1 hour to cut, weed eat, and blow off the sidewalks. Had a couple kids come by and quoted me $35 to cut it. I told them I’d do that. $35/week-10 days is worth it to me.

100% I pay for it. My allergies make me unbelievably miserable when I cut the grass. I'd rather just pay a local teenager to cut my grass for $30-40 than walk around with basically a head cold all the time.

There's not a better feeling than pulling into the driveway on a Friday and the yard is freshly cut.

As long as they don't completely frick it up, that is a good price unless you have a tiny yard.
