It makes itself. I get up and usually an hour or so later it's made. Magic.

We just cover everything with the blanket or comforter. I had to do it long enough in the Army. I don't sweat it now. The wife changes the sheets once or twice a week and washes the blankets or comforters once or twice a month normally.

Am I the only one that fricking hates sleeping under a sheet that’s tucked under the mattress at the end? Whenever I sleep in a hotel room, the first thing I do at bedtime is untuck the sheet from the end of the mattress.

I am in my late 30s. The last time I made my bed in between sheet cleanings was high school.
I see no point outside of it looking neat to visitors.
My wife, however, is a religious bed maker. So, my bed is always made.
IMO there is absolutely no improvement to the sleeping experience. If anything, every night I have to pull some sheet out from the sides of the bed for more wiggle room.
It’s more work to make the bed and more work to get comfy. No benefit outside of external appearance to others.
Pass.

Funny enough, our master closet is the secret portal to our pool table room/lounge.
You literally walk entirely through the closet and there's a door on the other side that leads to the bar/lounge deal. So guests see our bedroom pretty much every time they come over. But only quickly!

Whaaaa? Snuggling into super tightly tucked in sheets is my favorite.

I didn’t make my bed until I got married. My wife likes the bed made everyday. Last one in bed makes it. If that simple thing makes her happy, I’ll continue doing it forever.
