1. Love my job
2. Outside sales
3. Like because of the freedom with my time. As long as I’m producing nobody gives a shite what I do.
4. More than I ever thought I would make while working on the ops side of the business.

Behavioral Health

I get to help people, it's intrinsically rewarding, and I'm good at it.

I'm currently compensated very well. No complaints there.

No.
Engineering.
I don't.
Not enough.

Best job I ever had was law clerk for a midsize firm while I was in law school. Pay sucked but made my own hours, came/went as I pleased, and worked with a great group of folks. The actual work was legal research and writing briefs which was actually fun.

Only did that a couple of years, but those were some of the best times in my life. Newly married. Wife had a "real" job with health insurance. We were broke but somehow managed to travel abroad and enjoy life immensely.

Stressful AF, but pays exceptionally well, allows remote work, flexible schedule, and job security.

IT stuff

Kind of a hobby at times. Work from home if I want, no oncall.

Make enough for a comfortable life that I have zero debt. I get to cycle (mtb/gravel) 6 days a week if I want to.

I’m the ringleader of a circus operating as a business

An absurd amount on some days, some days about right, and there have been several days when it wasn’t enough.

Appreciate it! It’s underway…did the MBA thing and signed a full time offer for after I graduate. Shot for MBB and got the next best thing

How do you like the work?

Nice, congrats! I started straight after my MBA and have been doing it for the last 5.5 years. Currently Manager/Senior Manager level which is enjoyable. I'm enough out of the weeds that I'm not living in spreadsheets all day, but don't have the pressure of lots of BD just yet.

Next step is Associate Director which should come in the next few years

Yes, I like my job. I own a glass fabrication/installation business. I make enough.

If you feel the need to change, then change. I did. I used to be a landscape architect. No regrets on leaving that field.
