Our home has a very open floor plan so it's barely even necessary, but usually we show relatives coming to visit for the first time.

I've been doing a bit of redecorating so I'll show whatever's new to girlfriends but the men usually hang back.

I LOVE to see other people's homes when offered though (not to judge but to get ideas).

I finally broke down and bought myself a plasma tv. [camera pans out to show tiny screen attached to wall] Check it out. I actually hung this, on the wall, myself. Let me show you something: A lot of people in the room, you need more space [pushes the tv back an inch against the wall] Voila. Right into the wall.

Haha I saw this episode last night.

No.

Exchanged pleasantries and one thing led to another and he’s at my house a few weeks later. Said, “I’ll show you around,” and he said it’s not necessary, I’ve already seen it. Turns out he knew my wife through an acquaintance. Small world

Close friends and family asked for a tour the first time they came. I don't typically ask when I go somewhere or offer when people come here, but I don't mind if someone asks. My wife will ask and offer, but she's really into interior design.

If they ask. But they probably don’t care

Unless it is a close friend who is excited about their new home, a tour feels weird.

I don't give anyone a tour of my house. No reason for anyone to be in my bedroom or spare bedrooms.

Only when I bring a date home for the first time. I leave the master bedroom for last and don't spend much time on it as they'll be seeing it later.

I like to tour other people’s homes, especially when they’re not home.

I got in trouble a few months ago with the wife because I declined the tour of her friend's new house. They were college friends and hadn't seen each other in almost 20 years, and she had just moved to our town. I figured they wanted some girl time to talk about girl stuff in each room, but my wife informed me in the car as we were leaving that it was incredibly rude of me. I just sat on the couch and played with her dog while they toured the house.

I only give tours if people ask specifically. Only time I would really go out of my way to give a tour would be my mom or my brother and his kids. But then again they're all the type to explore my home without asking so there's really no need.

I don't havr one yet, but once I have a mancave with my minibar, etc. Then I'll probably show that off, but until then theres nothing special in my house except a couch, tv's that arent specifically big, and 2 beds.

It would take like an hour to show them my whole estate

I do. It gives me an opportunity to separate one of the guests from the group so I can then stick my hand down my pants then shove it in their face and say “do you like dick or do you like pussy?”
