Yeah, sure, why not?

I enjoy giving and I like to give them things I enjoy.

This. Adults who expect gifts are an absolute pet peeve of mine.

I like the concept, but in practice it becomes begging someone for ideas or picking a blanket off a list - it sucks.

Exactly. Either I’m getting someone exactly what they told me to get them, which feels dumb, or I’m getting them something useless in the name of getting them a gift.

Yeah, I get something for the immediate adult family that we will see on Christmas. Mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, plus my great aunt.

Other aunts, uncles, and cousins that we might see get nothing.

I send my parents and sister/BIL something every year. We would get everyone on my wife's side, which is huge thanks to multiple divorces, something every year, but finally this year we drew names, which made things a lot easier when you only have to buy 2 presents instead of 10-12.

If they have kids, we get something for the kids. If not, we get something for them, but I think it's stupid. Why am I buying an adult a gift? If they want something, they can just go buy it for themselves.

Usually buy gifts for my nieces and nephews, but exchange alcohol with my siblings. Parents and In-laws get nice gifts. I usually gift exchange an assortment of baked goods, booze, and gag gifts with coworkers.

My brothers and I get each other a little something

Every year, one of my brothers buys me a video game and I buy him a game. It's basically just buying it for ourselves but with the thought that counts

We make a list and each sibling and their spouse. Everyone gets assigned one person to get a gift for.

I don't really care, buy my sisters are into it.

I only give gifts to my parents and niece and nephews. I don't do any for any siblings or friends really.

The adults play Dirty Santa at our family Christmas gathering and at our "friends-mas" get together.

But other than that, my siblings and I only buy for our parents and each others kids.

I get my parents a gift and my sister a gift.

Hell we always have a Christmas party with our closest friends and draw names out of a hat after thanksgiving and buy a gift for whoever we draw

Gifts to my parents. The siblings stopped giving each other gifts a few years ago.

Our family is kinda small. The only presents we give are:

My parents and wife's parents
My brother, his wife, and their kids
Wife's brother and his wife.

I usually give a couple of my buddies a 6 pack of some new craft beer I think they would like.
