Okay, might just be me, but a sidearm, pocketknife and a few hundred dollars are the basic possessions of well prepared men.

I like to have 3 20s, 2 10s and 4 5s and a few ones in my pocket every morning before I leave.

Almost never, but I'm not 70, soooo...

But seriously, I can't think of people in my circle that are under the age of 50 that carry cash. Maybe a few sheckles, but never hundreds of bucks like my dad or his peers.

I try to keep $100 or so in my wallet.

The key word is TRY, as it seems my wallet is often subject to unwarranted searches and seizures.

Haven’t carried cash for 2 years now. It’s liberating to realize I never need it.

I just carry a card clip in my front pocket.

I was paying for everything with plastic anyway due to the earning potential of credit card points.

I never take a cab. It’s always Uber or Lyft.

During group meals, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or PayPal always works with friends or family if we’re putting everything on one bill because the waitstaff is lazy/retarded.

It blows my mind why anyone would carry cash. Under what circumstances would I ever need it, except for some office function where dinosaurs are scared of electronic payment apps?

Go cashless and that problem is solved.

Lot of fraidy cats up in here. Or millennials. Walking around with no cash.

What if you happen upon a poker game? Credit card won’t do you much good then.

Never use cards unless absolutely no other option. Get better deals all the time.

Two $100 bills in a zippered pouch of my wallet for emergencies. They've been there for years untouched.

I usually carry about $50 or so. I rarely carry more than that but I do keep around 1000 hidden at the house in case of emergency.

Always, and I get annoyed with cashless only options. I tell my 21 and 18 yr old to always have at least some cash on them

Usually between $100 and $400. The bank's very conveniently located 24 hr. money machine limits w/d to $300. When cash gets down to about $100, it's time to w/d $300 more. After a w/d, I keep most of the cash in my car, not on my person.

(I use cash at restaurants; nearly everything is by credit card.)
Also, I always keep a few dollars in my golf cart.

Absolutely….a few times in my life, I would have really been in a bind if I had not had some cash on me. Now, I typically operate with credit or debit cards. But if I get in a bind I can always lay my hand on a few hundred bucks if I am in a bind.
