But for the most part, they're just high functioning normal people. I suspect that is far more common in real life than the girl boss cat lady thing in OP.

I think we're talking about different things to some extent. I don't know any women who loathe their kids, hate their husbands, do girl bossing stuff all day.

I mean, I do know OF them but they're not in my close circles.

I do know tons of professional women who are mostly pleasant to talk to, reasonably good moms, etc. who are nonetheless invested in stuff like this saga, let influencer stuff control their moods, etc. They got anxious and blacked out their profiles in 2020, will let the "sisterhood" push them to voting for a candidate they might otherwise not, feel they have to caveat everything if they want to oppose the Clancy narrative or abortion or so forth.

My point is that there is not, in my experience, a big class of professional, settled, content women immune from these toxic female influences. In fact, I'd argue that those truly disconnected from it are likely the uber elites or the lower/lower-middle classes.

My wife (no pics) (probably an OT 8) was 18 when we got married. I'm sure she can't imagine getting married at 30.

She’s actually talking to a dude in his 40’s who’s never been married, has a great job and no kids and is seriously fit.

Women have more options than you think.

There’s a good chance that guy is talking to other women besides her.

Women have more options for sex and casual dating because men have much lower standards for it and are biologically wired to be promiscuous and share resources with women, but that doesn’t apply to committed relationships, which is what most women are actually looking for.

Can Average Amy be a role player on Chad Thundercock’s roster? Sure. But he’s not putting a ring on it.

It’s not possible for women to have a higher abundance of relationship options than men when the population is equal and marriage is 1:1.

Just because it’s Average Amy’s choice not to marry Average Allen because she thinks she is too good for him doesn’t make her any less single than him when it’s all said and done. They both lose out due to her standards.

There are plenty of men who would be fine with her situation, she is just probably being overly picky and over estimates her own worth.

This reads like it came from a tradwife/incel subreddit.

I dated a chick like this and it was pretty awesome. Ended up not working out because I have kids and couldn't pack up and go at anytime to keep up with her lifestyle, I have no hard feelings with her there.

It was nice and refreshing to not be dating a broke chick that brought a whole set of broke people problems into my life. She knew what she wanted all the time. No flower sleeve tattoos. It was fricking great. These are the women we should all be dating.

If your imaginary cousin decides to lower her standards on the kids thing, send her my way.

Lol did you seriously refer to Chad Thundercock? Red pill types have been talking about him for decades, he’s probably retired by now. Lol.

Ask a woman to describe her friend. She will say things like educated and has a good job not things like kindhearted and easygoing.

That's all you need to know.

I did.

I heard the name once and thought it was hysterical.

Women typically want a partner with at least equal if not higher educational, social and economic status. Men typically don't care as much about that. They do to some extent, ie you'll rarely see a PhD and someone whose education ended in high school together, but it's much further down the list of desirable traits. At the same time a lot of men will feel defensive about a woman with higher status and see it as a negative. So even if a woman is willing to date below her perceived level, she may not find anyone.

Have a family member in her mid 30s and has recently developed severe anxiety and depression about her state of affairs. She sidelined prioritizing family life to be hyper focused on her career, earning, and climbing the ladder. She has recently expressed a desire to meet someone, get married, have kids, etc. However, her prospects are incredibly slim. She is very upfront about not wanting to have step kids, and all the single guys she finds attractive in her age range and her perceived “status” are not interested and focusing their attention on younger, better looking women with more child bearing years ahead of them. She is also is bewildered why guys don’t seem interested in her 6 figure salary and nice condo over looking the city. Some guy she was seeing ended up moving on to a younger girl that worked as a bank teller part time, and she was confused.

I knew two women like that too, both deeply regret being so job centered.

My life exactly but my wife loves cats (because she loves all animals - she should have been a bet) and now after a few cats, yeah, it's kinda cook to have the curl up into you on a weekend night when you are watching a film or baseball or football game or whatever.

So you dont like double incomes? Odd.

The example above of passing on the OP example for a poor bank teller explains all the posts on this board where guys hate who they end up with. Get yourself a smart, well paid woman who likes you and spends time with you.

I ran into a girl a few years back that swooned over me 20 years ago. I remember at the time we jived (fricked around etc) but she gave off too much of a boss babe vibe.
She ended up running a business and has done well.
Fast forward to a few years back.

I see her, we hug, and the first thing she asks is “what does your wife do (for a living). As if to say….your wife is blah blah…
And I’m yadda yadda.

The whole time I’m thinking to myself.

My wife is way hotter. I don’t give a frick what you do/or how successful you are
I could never wake up to a (what I consider sub-par partner physically etc etc).

All this to say. She fell into the boss babe trap and thought she had a “gotcha” moment with me.

I’d rather live in a single wide in Livingston parish with a hot honey than a meh rich chick.

But I’m a romantic tee hee
