At least they are not contributing to rush hour traffic

They would be contributing to something

I don’t block traffic from getting to their office jobs or first responders from getting to office heart attack sufferers.

You’re an admin. You’re main contribution to society is exorbitant healthcare costs.

I used to swing a hammer on a drilling rig, then did a few years on frac locations. Now I sit in my little home office, drink my own coffee and shite in my own toilet. It's not a bad life.
I stimulate my local economy with my periodic trip to the ace hardware, liquor store, and our gelato shop on main street. My truck gets about 5k miles a year at this point.
My wife stays home with the kids, so it's nice getting 3 hot meals a day and not eating lean cuisines in a cubical.

I really don’t understand the massive complaining and butthurt some people have about people that WFH.
Do you actually want significantly more people out on the road every morning and evening making traffic worse and increasing the demand for gas?

Depends. People that truly have the choice on a day to day basis, that meet with customers routinely in person? That’s the backbone of the economy. People that are remote only W2 employees and only communicate with their team electronically, but spend half the day in zoom meetings? Pretty worthless, but we’re also worthless in the office.

Is WFH a normalized acronym?

You may be overrating contributions to society.
I got paid $375 today for talking about my industry for an hour. I didn't even have to be in camera. That almost certainly didn't contribute shite to society, but it was nice for the wallet.
My contributions to society aren't limited to work. Contributions to community event more so.

I also work in “healthcare”, and have worked from home 12 of the last 13 years.
On a different but related note, you do know there are Radiologists who work 100% remotely, right?

your contributions were likely meaningless inside the office and out. youve probably killed no one of consequence in your lifetime, never invented anything with far reaching implications, you dont employ thousands and your voice carries just enough weight to be openly ridiculed on a louisiana sports message board.
if i work from home and it causes the commercial real estate market to crash why should i give a farmers frick? cheap commercial real estate should only serve to help the entrepreneurial spirits out there that yearn to become a suit themselves. i dont live in a homogenous society so my interests arent considered enough to keep the daily black pill dosage down.

I do the same thing for a company with $2 billion in annual revenue that I'd do if my team had office space. You're either productive, or you're not. Those that aren't get cut.
