You will surprised how many dumb mofo don’t know that you can turn right on red unless a sign prohibits a turn on red.

This is a huge pet peeve for me while driving. Not just because some dopamine-deficient dickheads have to look at their phones at stop lights and strand you at the light. They always get pissy when you honk, too. I detest smartphones in general while driving. Put the phone away, a-hole, you're a fricking menace to everyone else on the road.

They are playing on their phone. Probably reading tigerdroppings or something else that will rot their brains.

I’ve watched an opiate addict pass out while waiting for a red light to turn.

I count to 1 then I hit the horn.

You have ONE fricking job behind the wheel, and that is to fricking pay attention.

It grinds my gears too. It has a huge impact at red lights. If everyone was conscious about getting through the light you'd probably see 50% more throughput.

want to get things done as quickly as I can. That works with driving too. When I’m at the self checkout, atm, buying gas

Sometimes at the gas station, every pump is occupied. You sit there and wait. Then you see the person finishes pumping and gets in their car. But the SOB is not moving for 5 minutes. It’s like they decided to take their time putting on the seatbelt, checking the mirrors. Do they know people are waiting?

You're much more forgiving then I am. I follow the German rule of red lights:

If your arse isn't moving within one second of that light turning green, you're getting the horn.

Yet another reason it was so refreshing to drive in a country where people take that shite seriously, and being an oblivious dumbass is not tolerated.

It's not gonna kill you to wait 30 seconds while I update my facebook status.

Meh, I usually give them like 2 seconds before the horn so they can check traffic. People in Houston will run the frick out of a red light.

but you will enjoy life much more if you just relax and don’t let things like this get you bent out of shape.

Not everyone time or situation is the same. Some people’s time is more important and they can’t waste it. What if you think you left the stove on? Or you’re trying to spend time with your kids that you get to see twice a month? Maybe you need to make it to the airport soon?

Instead of telling people to relax, why not tell them to improve so society as a whole can benefit?

Most people don't have the focus to read all of your post

Look I agree with you, but let’s be Honest, society as a whole is shitty and don’t give a shite about really anything that is going on around them.

It is much easier to change yourself than to change society as a whole, especially in the shite world we live in.

I hate how horns can sound so aggressive. I wish there was a secondary horn you could honk that said “hey man! The lights green! Just wanted to let you know! Peace and love!”

Found your problem. It’s your job as the second car in line to make sure the first person is paying attention and to honk after ONE second if they don’t move.

I think you are legally allowed to shoot him in that scenario.

You just reminded me of another pet peeve...two lanes in each direction, light turns to red and the first car stops in the left lane. The next guy then moves over to the right lane so he's zero cars back instead of one. But he's also going straight and blocks anyone from turning right during the red. frick those guys.

So true

At my intersection with the left arrow at the end of the green, I've honked at #1 from about the #4 spot, because #s 2-3 are also not paying attention.
