The same thing happens in the drive through line. Drives me nuts.

Yes, and I fricking hate it. My fam gets pissed at me when I honk the horn, but I usually just beep it quick to get their attention. It's not I lay on the horn for ten seconds and yell and cuss. But that's what horns are for.
I was at a light last week going straight. And the left turn lane next to me had two or three cars in it. Green arrow comes up and the first car sits there because they were on their phone. And the best part was neither of the two cars behind them honked their horns...I know the one next to me on her phone was and I assume the one behind her was as well since none of them budged and nobody honked or anything. They all three missed the green light. Idiots.

The driving test is too easy. And there should be further testing before you can drive a truck.

hearing a horn just shuts a lot of people down and instantly turns it into a bigger and slower problem.
I can’t believe someone on the OT would advocate for not honking for this reason. You should be getting lit up for posting that.
frick people who don’t pay attention and make others miss the light. There should be a spot in Hell where they spend 23 hours a day in gridlock in a car with no AC and the windows up in July in South LA.

In my defense every pay station is different. Gas pumps, grocery stores, fast food.... no 2 are the same. When I am President my first executive order is to mandate all keypads are the same. Phones, calculators and pay stations

But the people who lay on the horn a fraction of a second after the light turns is even more aggravating.
Then try using the gas pedal meemaw.

You will surprised how many dumb mofo don’t know that you can turn right on red unless a sign prohibits a turn on red.
I run into this on my way to work coming off a ramp near UofL from I-264. People will just sit there not knowing legally it's a right turn and you can turn onto Crittenden Drive. Makes me a bit ragey.

There’s a very short green light going west coming out of Lakeview at ponchartrain. I’m always ready to light up someone not ready to go on green.

Happens at stop signs too. On more than one occasion, I have walked out of my work building, which is located on the corner of an intersection controlled by stop signs, to see someone sitting at the stop sign with no reason not to proceed. Each time, I have walked to my car, got in, started it, backed out of the parking lot and pulled in behind them, still sitting there, with no traffic coming and had to honk to get them to move.

Seems like just recently I've had several encounters where the person in the lane next to me starts swerving into my lane to the point I have to honk to keep them from drifting into my car. Invariably, when I finally get past them, I can see they're playing on the phone while driving. It really is getting ridiculous.
This is a very underrated problem. You’ll see people turning left to get on an interstate on ramp drift right into the lane of traffic. I saw a driver drift into a car doing this on Calliope.
