In college I would skip days. But now if I don't shower I'm REALLY uncomfortable

I shower twice daily. Once in the morning after working out and again at night after work. I’m far too sweaty to not shower after the gym, and I work a pretty physical job so I’m sweaty again when I get off.

After I have broken a sweat and it has dried, the residual feeling on my skin feels sticky to me.

I have to shower to get rid of that feeling.

So daily shower if not more.

French average every three days and they don’t seem to have any problems.

They’re also nasty frickers.

Well, dry skin has been mentioned. Don't know if I'd call that a malady.

Rather have dry skin than stinky balls and arse.

I haven't seen a Dr. (besides annual BC visits) since 2005. Wash my hair once a week. Healthy as frick.

Some days I shower and other days I don’t. I rarely go back to back days without a shower though. Some days I wear a hat to work and other days I put product in my hair. If I put product in I have to shower the next day because my hair feels nasty with day old product.

I don’t seem to have issues with dry skin.

Nothing like a two week field problem in the south Georgia woods in July to make you appreciate a nice shower

Louisiana is awfully French, so, don't be surprised if this thread reveals that lots of people here don't bathe every day.

And don't get me started on the Irish.

Stop using shampoo and you wont have this issue. The shampoo lobby is a scam

Generally more frequent showers mean a somewhat weaker immune system than someone who has more immunity to germs.

Wish I would have thought of that when I was about 5 or 6 to use on my mom. You also might actually have a point. I had every childhood disease one could have plus being asthmatic at the same time when I was a tyke.
