Red wasps are worse than yellow jackets and bees imo.

True sting for sting. Never been just stung once by a yellow jacket, usually get hit 6-8 times by those bastards before I even know whats happened. Usually while bush hogging.

I have been stung by red wasps, honey bees, and bumble bees. In fact, I was stung by 11 bumble bees when I ran over their under ground nest with a mower. It felt like someone was hitting my back with their fist with their knuckles protruding. It was somewhat painful at impact but not that big of a deal. One red wasp was more painful.

I pour a little hummingbird nectar into my palm and the bumblebees pollinating our Daranta come over, land on my palm, and have a little feast.

I don't actually know anyone that has ever been stung by bumblebees, so can't answer that.

We had a guy named John working at the farm when I was in h.s. He was a huge loafer and dumbass. He would sit in a chair drinking beer while his wife mowed. He was shredding with the tractor and ran over a bumble bee nest. Instead of moving the tractor away, he bailed off and ran, leaving the tractor in neutral. The tractor, with the shredder running, was over the nest. They were pissed. So, I got to to jump on the tractor, slap it into a faster gear, and GTFO as quickly as I could. I used a calm approach, and I did not get stung.

I’ve heard that before. That’s strange because a yellow jacket got me a few years ago and didn’t hurt nearly as bad as the wasp stings I’ve had.

“ we counted 73 sting marks”

How sick were you? That’s getting into life-threatening territory.

The only bee i've come in contact with worse than a bumble bee is ground hornets.

As someone who has been stung by every bee or hornet imaginable on my dad’s farm, hornets are the correct answer

The "murder hornet" definitely outhurts all other venomous flying insects.

The Hymenopteran pain quotient ranking are as follows:

1. Murder hornet
2. Killer Africanized bees (multiple stings)
2. Common hornet
3. Yellow jacket/ bumblebee tie
4. Common wasp (this ranking may be elevated as it often involves multiple wasp stings).
5. Common honeybee

I don’t know but yellow jackets seem to find me much more than they find the average person.

One grabbed my ear and kept stinging repeatedly once. That sucked.
