No, bumblebee stings are like mosquito bites
Yellowjacket/Wasp stings are like satan stabbing you with a boiling ice pick
I was stung by a jack arse wasp last summer and was sick for two days. I hate those motherfrickers and supposedly I’m not allergic.

Never stung by a hornet. Knew a guy who was, he said the pain was unbearable.
When I was around 11 I was playing football w/some kids. The ball rolled into some bushes and a guy went into get it. He accidentally disturbed a huge YJ nest. We all got stung -- me 5 or 6 times -- but he was stung around 70 times, and had to go to the emergency room.
