“Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing,” the updated guidelines on Disney’s website read. This rule applies not only to the theme park, but also to Disney Springs, and hotel and resort common areas.

This change was done in an effort to combat the mask loophole created by the dining exception. Under the original policy, guests were able to roam throughout the parks mask-free as long as they sipping drinks or eating Mickey-shaped pretzels.

Imagine spending your time thinking of how to go to Disney world without a mask. What a pathetic life.

Imagine thinking that this is what people who go to Disney think about. People have been walking and eating/drinking at theme parks since theme parks became a thing. I seriously doubt more than a handful were actually trying to skirt the mask policy when they were doing this.

Walking around Disney in July pretty much sounds like hell to me but throw in a mask and I think hell would be the better option

waiting in line 2 hours for Space Mountain
To be fair, wait times have been extremely low. I’m talking 5-10 minutes and even walking on rides like flight of passage, space mountain, slinky dog, Everest, etc.

LOL at me! I am leaving with my wife, and kids (10,18,21 years old) on Saturday to do this shite for a week. What a dumbass! My wife convinced me that waiting 10 minutes for Flight of Passage and all of the other normally 2-3 hour wait rides offsets the mask requirement. We need to get our moneys worth for the annual passes...she says. It might not be so bad if it keeps a lot of the scooter crowd away. I am sure I will go postal at least once due to the heat and the mask. Pray for me.
