Then just gut up and pull out. Make the damn decision. All of them, Netflix, Disney, all of them! They should state they will not work in a state with a Republican governor and legislature. The residents of the state should tell them to get out. Who in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana and Missouri or Ohio want to listen to this constant chirping. Don't think about it Disney, don't chirp about it, just do it!

Imagine being the CEO of (originally) a children’s movie company and threatening to pull out of a state that’s preventing unborn children from being killed.

Makes sense right?

Georgia taxpayers lose money on every film made in Georgia.

Why should we care if Disney leaves.

They all threaten but none of them have given up those tax breaks yet. It's just grandstanding and money talks. They aren't going anywhere.

Well that's dumb because these companies have been filming in Georgia with their GOP government for many years now. GOP governments love to give tax breaks to corporations.

I'm pretty sure a ton of filming for these Marvel movies have been out of the Pinewood Studios outside Atlanta.

Maybe if more people pulled out they wouldn't need abortions.

I don’t think this will work out the way Disney thinks. Where are they going to film?

Dumbest fricking thing I'll read today, and the morning just started.

Funny thing is a lot of MPAA members film in Dubai, where you can just kill gays for fun.

What does an abortion ban have to do with doing business in a state? Can someone enlighten me?

So? You don't see where this is going? I'm sure Georgia is a fine place to work. But if you live in Georgia do you want to listen to this constant bellyaching and veiled threats about it was a wonderful place but now we are going to pull out because of abortion? Does that make Pinewood studios a less desirable place? It's carping designed to bring pressure to bear on Georgians and frankly if I lived there I would tire of listening. All individuals working the industry from Georgia may have to move to California or New York. Those are right (not political term) thinking people.

They're not going anywhere. He's saying what he feels needs to be said and then they won't move a single thing because the set up here is too lucrative for them.

Remember a few years ago when North Carolina passed the religious freedom bill and all these companies were saying the same thing and it was going to supposedly tank their economy? Yeah, nobody left there either and Charlotte is booming.

You too? Do your politicians justify them by touting all the secondary and tertiary spending in bars, restaurants, etc. that, conveniently, is extremely difficult to quantify?
