In truth GA market is flooded with tax credits and they are trading at below typical discounts. You can buy the credits at 78 cents on the dollar right now. Disney was going to be slowing what goes to GA anyway.

Chick-fil-A's religious position was present at its founding. The Left politicized it. And then got BURNED.

If they leave it will save Georgia taxpayers tens of millions in subsidies.

The article says Disney brought Georgia $2.7 billion, and accredited that claim to the governor. IDK math is not my strong suite but I'm pretty sure that billions >>> tens of millions???

Could be wrong.

If they do pull out of Georgia, I promise you I will not watch another Disney owned broadcast until things change. I don’t care what I miss out on.

Didn't read the article but did it say anything about Disney having resorts in Shanghai and Saudi Arabia or about the numerous set locations in Countries that have complete abortion bans?

Everyone likes to dog the Political Board for having a bunch of stupid conservatives but the liberals and "moderates" on this site are equally if not more stupid.

It blows my mind how important killing babies is to progressives.

The majority (58% Reuters) of Americans support maintaining abortion rights. They are simply showing their support for the will of the people.

Nobody got burned.

When they stated their position is irrelevant.

What you’re seeing is posturing between Netflix and Disney. Netflix knows it’s screwed when Disney Plus comes out so they are trying to become political activists to try to keep Hollywood in its corner. Meanwhile Disney isn’t giving them leverage by issuing comments similar to Netflix’s but not committing to definitive actions.
