it's a made up story. there is a whole section of the internet that loves reading these made up "mysteries" or spooky stories called creepypastas.
When I was in high school at a dance I met a girl named Laurie. She was lovely and warm, just an angel of a girl. I fell in love with her immediately.
As I walked her home She said it was her birthday. I pulled her close and asked her"Will I see you anymore?" Then suddenly she asked for my sweater and said that she was very, very cold.
I kissed her goodnight at her door and started home, then thought about my sweater and went right back instead. I knocked at her door and a man appeared. I told why I'd come, then he said: "You're wrong, son. You weren't with my daughter. How can you be so cruel to come to me this way? Laurie left this world on her birthday . She died a year ago today."
A strange force drew me to the graveyard.I stood in the dark. I saw the shadows wave. Then I looked and saw my sweater lying there upon her grave. Strange things happen in this world.

I saw a child trafficker in Walmart Prairieville today. The man was walking down the aisle alone. Beware, people! I’ve heard of this guy in other Walmarts!!!!!

There is only a bayou on the other side of the gravel road from the Gator Bar.

Sounds like the plot line in Midnight in Paris. They should remake it as Midnight In Livingston Parish.

Midnight In Livingston Parish.
Do you know that Livingston Parish has private bars that only certain types of patrons can be members of?

they attempt to backtrack the Uber route
This is bullshite. You don’t need to “attempt to backtrack” shite. You can immediately look and see the address that Uber picked them up at.

I heard a story like this on one of those ghost story podcasts a couple of years ago. Might have been Spooked. Anyway, it's not real.

Time to revive the thread? Atleast we mix in real stories with the bullshite.
