Did anybody else make it through without the flu shot ?

July 1. I made it without the shot. The only two times I got the flu happened to be the only two times I got the shot. 1978 and 1980. Did any of y’all make it through the season without the shot?

No shot. I did get a horrific high-fever, chest-busting case of bronchitis though. Almost as bad as the flu, really.

Never gotten a flu shot, mostly because I'm pretty lazy and never want to make the effort.
Have only gotten the flu once in my life about 30 years ago.
I'll probably get one later this year. They really are effective in diminishing the symptoms and shortening the length of illness, while also helping slow the spreading of it.
