I've gotten the shot every year for about 20 years. I have not had the flu during that time.

It was such a struggle avoiding illness and needles, yet I managed to escape the pursuit of the evil microbes by giving them the slip in the middle of the night. I covered my tracks using a pine limb to brush the dust behind me and clung to the shadows. Finally this day arrived and with it my safety.
Just wish I could have avoided the brown recluse bite on my abdomen. It's getting pretty nasty now.

I didn't get the shot and I didn't get the flu.
I've only gotten the shot once in 2008 because LSU was giving them for free. Haven't had once since and don't really plan on getting one

Got my shot. Didn’t miss for the flu working in a school of 1900+ kids, at one point with up to 200 kids a day absent during flu season.
