I was out with friends last night and I mentioned that for years I have said that N.O. can't do worse, and somehow they manage. I'm saying it once again, but this time the bar is so low. They cannot find anyone worse than Latoya. Hopefully, this is not a "hold my beer" challenge for the city.

Also broadcasting to Final 4, Super Bowl, and other large events that N.O. is a safety vacuum and an easy place for someone to take advantage of if they wish to prey upon a large crowd

That's not really the problem. The city can pay them, but few trust the leadership enough to go to work for them.

Paying the police isn’t the problem.
Hiring and keeping them is the problem

If I'm a Krewe leader, I say its time to relocate. I know the megas like Endymion and Bacchus will never leave because of the tradition - but smaller ones need to GTFO of that dump and head to JP or StTP. No sense in having your party ruined because of that total twatwaffle Mayor three years in a row.

Does the state have any authority to remove her from office? She’s absolutely destroying the economic engine of the state.
