How much weight was placed on the back of the dead drug addict criminal by the second?

If you don’t know the answer how can you say that he killed the progressive hero definitively?

Hint, you can’t.

It's going to be a murder conviction to placate the mob.

Then our justice system has just completed the fall from greatest in the world to below 3rd world standards.

You are unthinking and likely of mediocre to average intellect. The video is good enough? Good God.

Did you watch the trial?

Yeah. I believe Floyd was drugged up big time. Chauvin's force was enough to top it off. So in my eyes he followed protocol, but ultimately did kill Floyd. I don't think he deserves to be charged with anything though.

mean, we literally all watched the video. Don't need politics or media to inform me that Chauvin killed that man by going far overboard with his restraint.

That sure is alot of words to say it's Floyd's fault.

Think of it the other way.... George Floyd's drug levels were enough to top it off. And heart issues, and hypertension, etc....

No. According to the guy that actually did the training and was also on scene.

So given the circumstances, if he would have remained in the back seat of the police car and his heart exploded, like it probably did while he was on the ground, whoever the officer was who placed him in the car would be guilty of killing him as well, correct?

A very long deliberation time in this situation would make me think there is 1 NOT guilty person the others are trying to wear down.

that was my thinking.

They obviously don't all agree right now, otherwise we'd have a verdict, so that means there's at least one not-guilty in the room.

Yes. You want me to take your side, convince me with facts. Emotions have the opposite effect and make me stubborn to a fault.

So you admit that Floyd died of drugs and the levels were to the point that he was going to OD if met with a stressful situation even if he created that situation himself. That Chauvin followed protocols is even more proof that you believed he killed himself.

Think of it this way. If a drunk driver speeds, gets in a head on collision, and dies from that collision, he's responsible for his death not the other driver who was following the rules even if that drunk would be alive had the other driver not been on the road. Chauvin was doing what he was trained to do which is actually taught for the safety of everyone. That means he's not at fault at all here.

I'm pretty sure there won't be a murder conviction, but don't some of the manslaughter rules state all DC had to be to be guilty was a contributing factor? Not even the biggest factor, just a contributing factor.

could be argued very convincingly that Chauvin consciously made the choice to remain kneeling on someone who became unresponsive, creating a risk for great bodily harm which resulted.

It could also be argued Floyd would have died anyway but I’m not sure that was convincingly demonstrated.

So doubt has crept in.

Yet you still want him convicted.

We are lost.
