I read the entire thing.

You’re right they did say she was shitfaced.
More than once.
It also said both of them were grabbing all over each other’s junk…..

I don’t need them to tell me “hey bro we were really drunk too and shite just got out of hand in the backseat”
That’s implied bc they were at a bar partying it up till almost 2am.
It’s a safe assumption to think they too were impaired… to what degree? I have no idea.

And you’re right… the proper thing to do as sober minded adults sitting here dissecting this story after the fact is to say…. Absolutely they should have taken her to safe place and not touched her!
But that’s not how things go with stupid kids who are impaired with alcohol and or drugs. .. that’s my point.

Oh you mean the guy that lied about having sex with her and lied about seeing anyone have sex with her? The one that refused a DNA sample and immediately asked for an attorney?

That beacon of truth?

Quote the part where ANYONE said they were drunk or incapacitated.

If the perps would’ve been all white, Tate would’ve been quiet as a mouse. He's diverting attention away from the “Dindu Brothers“ and trying to pin it on Reggie’s.

Not unlike Latoya rushing to the aid of a black carjacking suspect.

Yes. The girl can't walk or talk. Unless you're also unconscious, you should know how impaired she is.

just don’t think this is cut and dry as many of y’all are trying to make it.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

This girl was likely barely conscious and probably coming in and out of consciousness. This isn’t a case of her being tipsy, and playing some “card” because she regrets sex. She was having a medical emergency and instead of helping her they raped her and left her for dead on the side of the road.

Didnt one of the suspects say she kept slumping over in the car? That after she fell down multiple times in the bar.

The fact that they were even able to recount the scenario speaks to their level of sobriety. Now, lets imagine that Madison had lived. Do you think she would have been able to recount the details?

Your support leans towards the predators. Own it.

based on all of your posts in this thread, it seems like you're really trying to justify your own previous (?) behavior...

So, assuming you are right, that they too were impaired. Would it have been okay for them to go rob a store? Murder the clerk? Kill somebody in a drunk driving accident?

Lots of people sitting in jail for doing stupid shite drunk or high. Defendants lack of sobriety is not a defense.

They were sober enough to recall just how fricked up she was during their interviews with the police.

The driver was sober enough that he told the police he felt uncomfortable and “hated it” - when he and the uncle sat in the front seat while the other two took had sex with her (one sodomizing her) in the back seat - before eventually saying “we got to stop this, let’s go” and driving away.

The two in the back seat were sober enough to get out of the vehicle and take turns. The victim, on the other hand, could barely walk or speak according to the perpetrators.

The false equivalence between this situation and two drunk people going home together is simply absurd. If y’all just want to argue about relative levels of intoxication and edge cases, maybe don’t do it in a thread about two guys who took turns with a girl likely suffering from alcohol poisoning in the back seat - on the side of the road, while their buddies sat in the front seat - and then dropped her off on the side of the road somewhere else when it got too uncomfortable.

Because when you say things like this:
quote:

Fact is …many here have some same thing these dudes did but only difference was the girl didn’t get run over and killed.

..it makes you look like a real piece of shite.

ETA: As someone pointed out earlier in the thread, two people with 0.319 BAC aren’t having sex. Much less three people. It’s a pointless argument.

There was a 28 year old uncle in the front seat.

Does he get a 'young guy' pass as well for his behavior?

You’re assuming I dont think they should face the music… the law is clear is it not about rape?
1st
2nd
3rd degree?

They admitted to it.
They’ll pay the price.

I’m just saying I don’t think it was premeditated.

I think bad decisions were made by all
Involved due usage of alcohol and drugs.
Cost this young lady her life ultimately.
