what? I don’t mean to laugh, but how are you even debating that’s the case here. Me and my boys got drunk plenty times in college. We never picked up a girl hammered, took turns having sex with her and then dropped her off on the side of the road.

I am guessing the "Based on a disagreement" is when the others tried to join in and she fought back and so they booted her. When the GPS data from all of phones place them at or near the location where she was killed and the BAC are all taken into consideration, I expect additional charges will come.

The problem with your post is, I'm not.
I'm saying many posters have done/supported the exact same rapist behavior and many of them have historically made posts supporting the behavior on this very message board.
Now, everyone is adding specific qualifications to avoid scrutiny of their own personal decisions in the past, to make this event so idiosyncratic it in no way related to the time they may have crossed the line.
I am not defending the alleged rapists. I'm calling many posters commenting on this story as if it's the end of the world, potential offenders.

Because you made a dumb comparison. This isn't some gray area case where one even wonders if it's a case of regret/embarrassment after the fact. Take off the lawyer glasses for a minute and see the difference between drunken sex and an incapacitated girl being taken advantage of.
That being said, this defense attorney is already showing himself to be a clown. I wonder what the "disagreement" in the vehicle was that caused her to want out. Could it be refusing forced sex? Great strategy there, Ron.

I think the issue was her remembering where she lived and she was too intoxicated to give proper directions, so they just dropped her off in the neighborhood. Then she wandered off into Burbank some time later.

I have no idea. Could be a lack of parental care or worse, actively teaching kids that it's ok to do whatever you want. But I have seen kids raised in good two parent homes, everything you'd expect a loving family to be and one of the kids grows up to be a shithead.
Kids reach a certain stage where their friends influence them more than their parents. Doesn't necessarily mean the parents failed.
Though I relent, in most cases you will be correct, particularly fatherless families produce some of the most sick POS young males the planet has ever known.
