It really depended on the region.

We had power back in 6 hours for Andrew and I remember walking around the backyard because it was borderline sunny.

Gustav was so much worse, especially with the tree damage.

frick all of these majors. I sure miss the days where you would play in the streets with your friends until the winds starting picking up a bit. Then your parents would call you in and you would sit by a window, no power, watching the trees swaying as the TS/Cat 1 passed.

I definitely set a few neighborhood speed records while riding my bike in those outer bands.
