Does anyone remember if Gustav was a slower or faster moving storm as it came through LA?

Oh yes. We’ll have to leave for this one if we want to keep our vehicles.
Not sure if we should pull the RV north or if we should just keep it stored in BR and go stay with family in Jackson.

Thought peej said it would blow up in the GOM?
Meanwhile, it’s going to hit peak intensity before it even enters the GOM.

You stated when this storm hit the gulf, it would blow up. This was earlier in the thread.

frick all of these majors. I sure miss the days where you would play in the streets with your friends until the winds starting picking up a bit. Then your parents would call you in and you would sit by a window, no power, watching the trees swaying as the TS/Cat 1 passed.
Something something... global warming...

Thanks... I was hoping maybe it was a slow mover. With Delta, it seems like it will be a fast mover as well

For those interested, Hurricane Track's morning update on Delta:
Hurricane Track: Delta (Morning, 10/6)
And for Slack the first comment on the video is a wish cast into Houston.
