No. The ULL over Mexico still drifts NE over Texas, even though it is weaker, it will still erode the western edge of the ridge enough to allow for Delta to turn N & then NE. We've been splitting hairs on where that actually happens.
The stronger ridge over the top until that time does force Delta farther SW across the Gulf, which actually takes it over warmer water.

rds glossary:
ULL - upper level low
NE - Northeast
N - north
Ridge= high pressure with clockwise flow around it
SW -southwest (direction not airline)
Gulf - Gulf of Mexico
Mexico - southern Texas
Warmer water - not fricking ideal
