I get it. I've been trying to knock my wife up for the past 6 months and yeah, it starts feeling like a chore. Probably wouldn't have felt that way in my 20s but at 37 sometimes I just want the night off. Feels like I'm just being harvested. She's taking it seriously. I'm pretty sure she wakes up every hour while I'm sleeping and checks to see if I have wood. If I do, she's waking me up. Shite, couldn't this wait until my alarm went off?
