Buster's Place. Get the Oyster Po'boy, then go next door and let loose with a crazy metal band at the Green Room.

Was waiting for Scuttlebutt.
Barley Oaks and a walk on the lakefront should serve you well.

I love the green room.
Does the guy from Babaganoush still set up a table outside and sell gyros after midnight? That was always one of the best things about going there for a show.

Sal and Judy's in Lacombe. Very elegant. Food was good, but wasn't as spicy as I hoped.

Yujin is also good sushi in downtown Covington. I don't know if it's a 'date spot' but could be worth a try if you like sushi.

And I said in the OP; you guys served me well with suggestions... I already went back and read that thread and didn't like any of the suggestions... Was hoping for new ideas.
....arse.
Moreover, Barley OAK is one of our drinks spots... Been to Nuvalri's, Ox Lot 9, Chimes, Beach House, and a few other places.
I like the idea of Gallagher's so far... Please keep them coming.

He does on the weekends and it's incredible. I pass the green room on the way home just for the gyro.
