The heroin in Slidell is supposed to be top notch.
After that anything will be fun.

Ox Lot 9 across from Del Porto. Aside from the strip mall locations, Pardo's and Cafe Lynn are very good. Lola's in downtown Covington is nice. La Provence is good but has been dead the last few weekend nights I have gone - shame because it used to be the best Northshore dining spot. A lot of people love Sal & Judy's, but I just find them average.

There's also a Johnny's Pizza on 190. The pizza is awesome plus there's arcade games.

There's probably some fall travel ball going on at Pelican Park.

Inexpensive and great people watching opportunities.

ETA: you people suck... he clearly said date night and y'all can think of nothing but restaurants.

La Provence for a nice meal (it's a John Besh restaurant and has a fantastic atmosphere)

Barley Oak for a drink on the lake front. They also have a good brisket sandwich.

Ox Lot 9 at the Southern Hotel

The Lake House on the lake front

Nuvolaris

Jacmel in Hammond is awesome as well
