A bit off topic but that shite in the initial article really grinds my gears. Capitalizing black and not white. For consistency sake, it makes no fricking sense. It’s either Black and White or black and white. No one with a functioning brain could try to explain why to capitalize black and not white. Reparations, I guess.

In fact, if I was the holdout on the jury, the dismissal of the more serious charge would only embolden me. Clearly the prosecution isn't confident in their own case so why should I be?
I would feel the same way, but this sets up an opportunity for a compromise verdict and getting to go home.

Are the jurors sequestered?

The liberal media achieves its goal of pissing you off by doing this.

I don't believe they are, but I would think they are ready to get out of this.

Would never cave. Won’t the judge just give them another deadline and then act again if necessary? I don’t know, but no way you compromise your beliefs at this point to go home earlier.

I would like to think someone is strong enough to not cave and realize they don’t have to and it won’t be much longer anyways.
I am interested to know if and when the judge could give a date to be done. And if they can’t agree then it should be dismissal.

Maybe you should chill out a little bit.
(this plan is nothing new for me- this is only the most recent reason in a long line of them)
REMINDER: Bragg won reelection by approx. 83% of the votes, up from 81%. He is indeed following the will of his constituents it is on them, not Bragg. That's the same people that make up this jury.

So you've been a psycho for awhile then. Understood.

That's more worthy of anger, using his military service against him, than capitalization.
Worth noting, I do believe the probability of that is low. But after seeing Merchan in action it is not in the realm of possibility. Bragg certainly would hesitate to petition for it.

Nice to meet you.
After having my president declare war on me, twice, threaten with military hardware, being called garbage, deplorable, stinky wall mart people, racist, terrorist, homophobic, transphobic, and plenty of other things I've long forgotten my psychosis is minor in comparison.
I simply desire to respond in kind.

None of that has a thing to do with Daniel Penny or wishing death on people. But you do you, psycho.

WTF is this jury struggling? This is disgusting. He didn’t do anything wrong.
There’s a fricking double masker on the jury and he’s for sure the hold out if there is only one. Just a full fricking Woke despotic clown like that fat commie piece of shite that charged Daniel in the first place.

The prosecutor and the judge are making up law to drop the charge and instruct jury to just consider the lesser charge.

I don't understand that verdict form, which I assume no longer applies since count 1 was dropped. Will they get a new verdict form and be instructed on count 2?
I didn't know a jury could consider "lack of jurisdiction". Isn't that for the court to determine?

Ripe for appeal if found guilty of anything, he should be able to sue if it gets to that point. Ridiculous.

Protects people from a deranged mentally ill person and is punished for it.
Unbelievable.
People are fed up coming out to their parked car with a shattered window and a parking ticket stuck to the windshield so let’s hope the jury has half a brain and realize the statists prosecutors and judges are out of their minds.
