The running joke with some buddies about the SMU sluts on Greenville was "you better drive something nicer than a 5 series and NOT live in the Village".

quote:

It's even better because you can just see all the SMU grads going "frick a 3 series screams entry level"

I figured I wasn't original about the bitches. But that's how obvious it is.

If you happen to cruise by a place seemingly named "Cocktails and Dancing" (it's not named that) in Lake Highlands, you should go.

Don't bother with the strip clubs, they completely suck.

Katy Trail Icehouse, Sfuzzi are the 2 obvious answers...

ETA: Nodding Donkey too.

Sfuzzi has been closed nearly two years now.

Is the "Slip Inn" still open?

Went there a few times after some late nights and too many shots. Loved the name.

Wow, you must be buckets of fun if you have to go all the way to grapevine to have any fun.

The newer location in Gables Villa Rosa closed down already? They just opened it about a year ago, a year after closing the McKinney location.

I work in Plano. My company shares its building with other companies. My favorite is when the bank in the building does new hires for its entry level jobs for people straight out of college. They start at $34k or something like that. Anyway, 2 weeks or so after the new hires start, all of a sudden you see a bunch of fancy new cars rolling into the parking lot every morning with temporary tags.

Personally I work with one guy who leases a BMW for something like $700 a month. Considering there is no way he makes more than $40k he is spending about 1/4 of his check on just the lease payment for his BMW. Plenty of people in Dallas that do that.

It's not that far from Dallas. It's the team hotel for the teams playing in the Cotton Bowl

Guy, it's west of Coppell.

Dallas threads never disappoint.

Barcadia in NOLA was usually pretty douchey and had bartenders with giant fake racks.

Is that pretty much par for the course in Dallas as well?
