Going to be in Dallas this weekend. Any recommendations on where to go at night? 2 late 20s males, looking for live music and possibly some poon.

Thanks.

I'm sure there isn't anything as cool as 1913 in downtown baton rouge, but you'll find something.

If you're both good looking just stay in the room and jerk each other off in the dark.

We are looking to try something different. This activity gets old after a while.

Wherever you will go you will encounter plenty of douche bags and $30k millionaires. Good luck. It's not in Dallas but Glass Cactus at the Gaylord in Grapevine is a bit more classy and a bit less douche baggy.

Deep Ellum is a cool area with lots of bars and music venues. Black swan saloon and Armoury DE are both great bars. More of your alternative scene in this area.

Uptown is where you want to be if you're looking for the post-grad crowd. Parliament is a great cocktail bar. The standard pour is a good one to check out too.

Lower greenville is a trendy area. Lots of restaurants/bars. The granada theatre will probably have a live music show too.

Not sure on where the quality poon hangs out as I've only lived here since the summer and am married. Those three areas will be your best bet to find some fun though.

Hit Braindead Brewing for some food and beers. My buddy is one of the owners. It's been getting top reviews from city publications.

If you go uptown, theres also a street car that runs for free if you want to barhop.

Deep Ellum is pretty easy to walk around and find some fun.

Greenville might be the hardest to navigate, but its still pretty compact. You could easily walk to a handful of places and check them out.

Katy Trail Icehouse, Sfuzzi are the 2 obvious answers...

ETA: Nodding Donkey too.

A place to grab beers while jogging and a pizza place.

Got it.

You might want to be more specific with the area of Dallas you'll be in. I suspect you'll ultimately get some McKinney Ave suggestions.

Not sure of the exact location, but it's somewheres in between the House of Blues and Uptown apparently.

Have you never been out on McKinney after midnight?

I was at the alcove by my apartment and some douche randomly walked up and tried to start a fight with six of my friends. There is no way most of the kids in Uptown can afford it without the help of their parents. I know plenty of law students drowning in debt that should be living in Farmers Branch.
