Health officials expect over 1000 today.

"Experts" attribute increase to failure to wear face masks - no mention of protests a couple of weeks ago.

If someone has an antibody test and it comes back positive they’re listed as a new case

And I got an e-mail from Wylie ISD indicating the kids are going back to school 8-13-2020.

I doubt this happens

I know Frisco, Allen and McKinney are going to offer in-person and online options this Fall.

We have to commit to a path by 7/20 and you will be locked in for the first 9 weeks that way.

Family voted - kids are going to do in-person.

Is that bad? People are going to get it. I thought the issue was hospitals being overrun. Are they being overrun?

Like what does that even mean

So fricking what, people are not dying like they predicted. Mortality rate keeps falling as younger get virus.

Who cares? The goal was to flatten the curve on hospitalizations, that has occurred. There can be 1000000 new cases if they aren’t resulting in hospitalizations it doesn’t matter.

It’ll likely happen. Wichita is going through a spike and our district came out and all but committed to having in person classes. They’re banking on this wave dying down by the start I believe. There’s too much riding on getting back in and going again.

Let me guess. Less than 10 dead on Friday's dump. They missed there chance to shut everything down before the 4th weekend

How is the death rate looking?

Protests were weeks ago it should be showing in the data of positive cases are soaring.

Don’t bring that up around the Texas soy types. We’re on the brink of disaster! Houston has 7 million people in the metro and less than 700 deaths from Covid.

And those positive test results mean almost nothing.

Yet the death rate continues to decline.
Translation: many asymptomatic people are testing positive.

People that focus on cases will never answer this question.
