They need to stay out of the way of vehicles. Not sure about being ran over, but they need to be more courteous to cars/trucks and stop or get out of the flow of traffic.

On river road this weekend cyclists were riding 4 wide. They looked annoyed at motorists. I cycle and I was annoyed with the cyclists.

Dumbasses. Why would you ride a freaking bike on a road with a speed limit of over 50 or 60? That's a death wish.
Also looks like the trucker tried passing them on the shoulder, which is what they were trying to get to when they were hit. I guess the cyclist assumed it would be clear for that reason and didn't even look.

I don’t care what your stance is on this is because I’m gonna always choose safety over anything.
A person walking or riding a bike on a roadway will ALWAYS lose against a vehicle.
Why even try it? I’m not pissing someone off in a vehicle and act like “they can just go around me”

I am so thankful I don’t have to drive on river road anymore.
When they ride in formation or in groups of about 20 it’s easy to come around a turn and be surprised. It’s a terrible road to have as a training route with the high speed limit and curves.

I once saw a moped on the interstate, in the left lane, with no helmet on. Guy looked like he didn't have a care in the world as he just cruised slowly. I was scared for him.
