This thread has inspired me to get a spicy chicken salad for lunch

The line was actually longer inside. They had three managers and two tellers working outside. Also had a manager picking up trash and had a manager directing traffic

it starts by hiring good managers that make sure employees do their job or they get fired, and they dont hire just anybody off the street and keep them when they are too lazy to care about doing a good job.
the type of employees you have, and their attitudes while at work is 100% the result of who your managers are

I have driven by that one during lunchtime (11:30-1:00) and there is a backup of at least ten cars onto Vets. You just don't see that with other fast food places.

I don't know why posters on here are always complimenting the service at Chic-Fil-A.
I went to the drive up window yesterday at their new location on Burbank Drive in Baton Rouge and waited for a good 5 minutes and no one ever even asked to take my order.
So, I parked to go inside and they had forgotten to unlock their door. I knocked but no one would come unlock it.
I just left.....

I happened to want a hamburger at McDonalds the other day despite my better judgement. I have eaten there maybe 4 times in the last 10 years. Lady put my order it and it came back the exact opposite of the tag. Then they ran out of burgers that were cooked. So it took about 25 minutes to get a burger and fries. The manager yelled at them but they simply did not care. Honestly, I wonder how they stay in business with the level of service they offer. It really is awful.

Hire Him, consider what you are seeing as a Job Interview, teach him what he needs to know, he's trainable

When I am pulling up to the window, I get nervous because I know they will have my food ready, and feel like I need to be ready to accept. Making sure my drink holder is empty, wallet has been put back in my pocket. I feel the pressure of their great service.

Pro Tip: Get the app and order ahead. Send it about 4-5 minutes before you get there and walk in and out in about 30 seconds. I do this when its busy and when its not. I usually walk in front of the same car(s) going in and going out with my food. Get a few extra steps in for the day and most of the time am in and out in only a couple minutes.

Maybe the dumbest post in the history of posts. Chick Fil A’s worst service is still exponentially better than The best Popeyes!

It's so much more than that too. They are very Selective with franchisees and they only allow you to own one location. Which means each owner has a very close relationship with their branch rather than just farming out the day to day operation. This leads to all the great side effects you see there.
It really is a great model.

You just don't expect it from them
What you're not gonna do is come in here lying on CFA like that.

I've never been to a Chick-fil-A that was "out of chicken", so no...it's not.
