Quick update: Ate there for lunch today. Walked into the restroom and a man who I’m pretty sure was the manager (Oxford shirt, tie, and an apron of all things) walks in behind me and starts wiping down the floors with his bare hands and napkins. Just bent over at the waist going to town. Then he proceeded to clean countertops and the toilet next. The manager of all people!

With the exception of College Dr. & MofLA all the CFA's in BR are owned by the same family.
Seigen & Airline are owned by the dad & Gonzales is owned by the son, who used to own the Mall location but I believe sold it.

One time I had to wait at my table for what had to be 3 minutes. Employee came 3 times before I got my meal and while I was eating saying she was so sorry and offered me a free meal.

All Chick-Fil-A's are owned by the Truett Cathy family. Nobody sold nothing, they paid $10K for the Cathy's to let them operate each store location.
There are no independently owned Chick-Fil-A's. You Can't Own a Chick-fil-A Franchise.

The last time I went to Popeyes they upped their game up a little. The guy who took my order asked if he could take my order with enthusiasm.
It threw me off because I am used to "can I take your order?" once you place your order then you get "okay drive to the window".
When I went to the window he actually double checked by making sure I said I wanted BBQ sauce and threw in two extra in the bag. Then thanked me.
Chick-fil-a is making everyone up their game.

Like Kevin Young? Yeah, he is the Franchisee-Owner/Operator of Manhatten's fifth Chick-fil-a. You should should look up what Franchisee-Owner/Operator means at Chick-fil-a.
You will notice that Oscar is also referred to as a Franchisee-Owner/Operator. All Chick-fil-a's are run by Franchisee-Owner/Operator, who all paid their $10k and all went through Chick-fil-a training. And when they die or retire, the resturant is still owned by the Cathys.
So yeah, Oscar lied to you, but probably more through omission than deceit.
