As someone who has spent quite a bit of time in India that's one of the dumbest most willfully blind things I've ever read on the internet. The level of poverty there is incomprehensible to most Americans. We're talking young un potty trained children go around without pants in public and will shite/piss whevever they happen to be standing in the street poor. We would fly into Mumbai and stay there at night and take a car in the morning to our final destination. On the way from Mumbai to Pune there was this giant field several football fields in length that was bordered by a canal of water. There would be hundreds of people in the field taking a shite. Every morning. Hundreds of people shitting. Can't image what that field smelled like. We all referred to it as the shitting field. I don't know how he's missed the people rummaging through huge mounds of garbage on the side of the streets.

That's the thing, its not a rare event. I literally read a post on Reddit yesterday about two young females that were found hanging in India after they were gang raped. Gang rapes happen so much in India that is numbered in the upper 10's of thousands.
The US should issue a travel advisory to India like other countries have in the past, especially if you are a white woman.

this doesnt just happen in india. i met a black woman with a huge michelle obama arse in turkey. everywhere she went everyone would stare at her and kids would go sit near her and their friends would sneak pictures. it was pretty wild.

This event is awful on it's own without your need to compare cultures. You are also very wrong.
Do you really believe that Europeans have never been committed sexual violence against each other? Ask the Irish how they feel about the English. Or ask the Scots how the felt about the English. Do Romans count as Europeans, because they raped the shite out of everyone on the Continent?
This doesn't even get into what Europeans did once they left the Continent. How to Indians feel about the English? Africans about the Dutch and French? Filipinos are basically a race of half-Asian, half-Spanish people because of all the rape.

Don't forget that Indians are also the most racist people on earth. Their codified Caste System included "untouchables." People from that Caste are still treated as subhuman today. They use the Caste System to justify a lot of the sexual violence.

There was a post recently on the travel board about India and there were several posts about the creepers and one guy didn’t stay pass the second day with his family because there were run-ins with locals messing with his daughter and wife. I have traveled the world and I have no desire to travel to India. Dirty and nasty comes to my mind NO THANKS

I haven't been there but I have read stuff from multiple people, including the very "inclusive" liberal professional travel types and they all say, basically, that its a disgusting shithole that you WILL get sick at some point in, and that no one values personal space and that you will get groped and feel unsafe multiple times at BEST if you're a woman.
