I've been all over the country and it's a shithole top to bottom. Thats not to say there aren't some great people there, but it stinks, the air quality is awful, the poverty is rivaled only by sub-Saharan Africa. I've never been to a place in the US thats worse than the best parts of India. IDK where you would have to be from to think it's an improvement.

You would die before you cleared customs and wouldn't even get a chance to spend an entire trip without seeing a blue sky and wondering why it feels like you have a sinus infection but then figure out it's just from the smog.
I seriously hate going there but have to frequently. I'll be back in Delhi and Mumbai this summer... yay. At least i get to go up to the Himalayas this time and get out of the heat.

Had a neighbor travel to Mumbai. He is an engineer and was traveling for business. He would ride a bus to the office he was working at from his hotel for the three weeks he was there. He said the first couple of days he would look out the windows checking out the sights on the ride. They were so bad that for the rest of the time he would just close his eyes or hang his head while riding.
